Proxy Checker
Check your HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy. See the exit IP, location and HTTPS request time.
How the test works
Test a public IPv4 proxy you are authorized to use. Your settings are sent to Proxyca for one HTTPS request to ipify through your proxy. Submitted credentials are not saved. The exit IP is sent to ipwho.is for approximate location. Request time covers the whole test.
Where to find your proxy settings
Open My proxies in the bot. Generate a residential connection or open your datacenter order, then copy the host, port and credentials above.
Read your proxy check result
What does a connected result mean?
The checker completed an HTTPS request to its fixed test destination through your submitted HTTP or SOCKS5 proxy. The exit IP is the address seen for that request. Country, city, provider and ASN are approximate information looked up for the returned IP.
This is a connection test rather than a download-speed benchmark. The reported elapsed time covers the whole test request. Your application's timing can differ because it uses another destination, browser profile or network path.
What should I check after an authentication error?
Copy the current username and password again, check for extra spaces and confirm that the host and port belong to those credentials. Select the protocol supplied with your connection. If your application uses separate fields, paste each value into its matching field.
For residential traffic, generate connection details after buying GB. For datacenter rental, open the issued order in My proxies. Buying traffic and generating an endpoint are separate steps.
Why did the proxy time out?
A timeout means the test did not finish within its allowed time. Confirm the endpoint, port and access settings, then retry after a short pause. If a browser also fails, compare its configuration with the values you entered here.
Keep the error and test time when contacting support. Avoid repeatedly changing unrelated profile settings before checking whether the endpoint itself can connect.
Which proxies can I test?
The checker accepts public IPv4 proxy hosts with HTTP or SOCKS5 and optional username/password authentication. Private and reserved network addresses are excluded. Enter only a proxy you own or are authorized to use.
Submitted credentials are used for the test and are not saved by the tool. Do not paste them into shared screenshots or support messages. If tests are temporarily limited, wait before trying again.
