Proxies for E-commerce Price and Product Data
Compare product prices, currencies and availability through selected residential locations. Build a repeatable check instead of comparing unrelated browser sessions.
Define what you are comparing
Begin with a list of exact product URLs or identifiers and the locations you want to compare. Decide which fields matter: displayed price, currency, stock message, delivery information or the availability of a specific variant. Keep the same product variant and quantity throughout the comparison.
A price displayed on a product page may differ from the amount shown later in checkout. Record which page and stage you checked. Separate the displayed product price from shipping, tax and account-specific discounts so your report preserves the meaning of each observation.
Use residential connections for selected locations
Proxyca residential proxies offer country and available city targeting across 195+ countries. Buy a traffic package, then generate connections with the location and session settings your comparison needs. Use a sticky session for a continuous product inspection and rotation when your sampling plan calls for separate connections.
Start with 1 GB for $8 and observe the traffic used by your test pages. Product images, video and repeated loads can change consumption significantly between sites. Purchased traffic never expires, and larger packages reduce the effective price per gigabyte. View residential traffic packages →
Keep the browser comparison consistent
Use a labelled browser profile for each test setup. Enter the proxy host, port and credentials, select the matching protocol and run a connection check. Confirm the public IP from inside the profile before collecting results. Our browser manuals show where these settings belong.
Keep cookies, language, account state and delivery settings consistent with the question you are testing. A retailer may use information beyond the IP address to choose a currency or offer. Record those settings alongside the result so a colleague can repeat the test rather than guessing why two screenshots differ.
Capture a useful product-data record
- Open the exact product URL and select the planned variant.
- Record the country, exit IP, time and browser profile.
- Capture the displayed price, currency and availability message.
- Note delivery location settings and whether the browser is signed in.
- Save the page URL and a screenshot, then repeat for the next location.
Preserve the original currency in your record. If you later convert amounts for a report, keep that conversion separate from the price observed on the website. A timestamp helps distinguish a location difference from a price that changed between tests.
Connect a proxy-aware collection client
If your approved workflow uses a client rather than a browser, configure its proxy settings explicitly and keep credentials out of shared logs and source files. Use the same product identifiers and record the response status. Start with a small sample so you can verify that the returned fields match what the page actually shows.
Proxyca supplies connection details through Telegram. It does not provide a product-data extraction service or a proxy-management API. Your application handles parsing and its own request schedule. The automation setup guide and web scraping connectivity guide explain the connection side of that workflow.
Separate missing data from a connection error
When a product record is empty, check the connection before concluding that the product is unavailable. Test the endpoint with the Proxy Checker, then examine the destination response and the page content. Authentication failure, a timeout and an out-of-stock message are different outcomes and belong in different report fields.
Use the proxy testing guide for diagnosis. If you need a rented static connection for a recurring task, compare datacenter rental with residential traffic. Follow the destination's access rules and the permissions for the data you collect.
Frequently asked questions
Can I compare pages by country and city?
Residential generation includes country and available city settings across 195+ countries.
What is the entry price?
Residential traffic starts at $8 for 1 GB. Purchased traffic never expires.
Does changing IP always change the displayed currency?
No. Retailers can also use cookies, account settings and delivery location. Record those settings alongside the IP.
What should I record for each product?
Keep the exact product and variant, time, location, displayed price and currency, availability message and source URL.
Does Proxyca extract product data for me?
No. Proxyca provides proxy connections managed in Telegram. Your browser or collection application handles the product data.
How do I troubleshoot an empty result?
Test the proxy endpoint first, then inspect the destination response and page content to distinguish connection failures from missing product data.
